Home care is generally billed by the hour, with costs depending on the number of care hours needed each week and varying slightly by region. Most families either pay out-of-pocket or use long-term care insurance to cover the expenses.

We take care of all payroll, taxes, insurance, and administrative responsibilities, making the process seamless for you. In many cases, we can even handle billing directly with your long-term care insurance company.

If you have Original Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) or Part B (Medical Insurance), you may qualify for Medicare home health benefits. To be eligible, you must meet specific criteria: you must be homebound, under the active care of a doctor who certifies the need for intermittent occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and/or skilled nursing care. Additionally, the home health agency must be Medicare-approved. Please note that Medicare home health care differs from non-medical home care services.

Medicare does not cover long-term care, 24-hour home care, or non-medical home care for assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) or personal care, such as bathing, unless there are other medical needs. Medicare coverage can be complex, so we recommend consulting with an insurance expert to determine your or your loved one's eligibility.
